1. Plans
Current public plans are:

The Pricing page shows the current commercial offer. If the pricing page or checkout shows different current limits from this summary, the specific offer accepted at checkout or in an order form governs for that subscription, subject to applicable law.
2. Starter trial
Starter is intended to let a new user evaluate GeoLayers before subscribing. The current trial period is 14 days. A trial does not create an entitlement to indefinite free service and may be limited to one trial per eligible user or organization.
At expiry, the platform may restrict write operations while continuing read/export access where the current product design supports that behavior. GeoLayers may delete dormant expired-trial data after reasonable notice and retention periods, subject to legal obligations.
3. Professional subscription
Professional is a recurring paid subscription intended for individual spatial professionals and small collaborative projects. Current limits are shown on the Pricing page. Usage above plan limits may require deletion, export, an upgrade or another arrangement.
4. Organization plans
Organization plans may include multiple seats, central administration, additional projects/storage, enterprise governance, onboarding, integrations, support or other negotiated services. A quote, order form or signed organization agreement may add or replace these online Subscription Terms for that customer.
5. Billing and renewal
A recurring subscription renews at the billing interval shown when you subscribe unless cancelled before the renewal date, subject to applicable law. You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the selected payment method for recurring fees and applicable taxes shown at checkout or on the invoice.
If payment fails, GeoLayers may retry the charge, request an updated payment method, restrict paid features or suspend the subscription after reasonable notice.
6. Price changes
GeoLayers may change public pricing prospectively. A price change for an existing recurring customer will not be applied retroactively. Where required by law or good commercial practice, GeoLayers will provide reasonable notice before a new price applies at a future renewal.
7. Upgrades and downgrades
Plan changes may take effect immediately or at the next billing period as shown in the subscription flow. A downgrade may require you to reduce project count, storage or collaborators to the lower plan limits.
If data exceeds the lower plan's retained capacity, GeoLayers may place the account in a restricted/read-only state until the user exports, deletes or upgrades rather than silently deleting active data without notice.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel future renewal through available subscription controls or by contacting info@geolayers.co.za when self-service cancellation is unavailable. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal; access may continue until the end of the already-paid billing period unless a statutory right or specific offer provides otherwise.
Consumer rights under the CPA, ECTA or other applicable law are not waived. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
9. No transfer of account plan
A subscription is associated with the account or organization that purchased it and may not be resold or transferred without GeoLayers' consent, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Fair usage and technical limits
Published limits are service-management controls, not guaranteed maximum performance. Browser memory, source-data complexity, third-party APIs and network conditions can affect what a user can process even when they remain within a plan's storage or project limit.
11. Taxes and invoices
Applicable taxes, if any, will be stated on the relevant invoice or checkout page. Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing details and any information reasonably required for invoicing.
12. Relationship with other terms
These Subscription Terms supplement the Terms of Service. Organization order forms and signed agreements may contain additional terms, service levels, procurement requirements or payment arrangements.
